Recently, the pantry picked up 832 pounds of pet food from the Girl Scouts Troop #3407. The girls earned their Bronze Award which is the highest award a Junior Girl Scout can earn. The Bronze award shows they have made a promise to help others, improve our community and world, and become the best they can be! We are extremely grateful and proud that they picked the pantry as their service project to earn the Bronze award! The girls sat out in front of PetCo for two weekends and held their pet food drive, good job!

All of us here at the Pet Food Pantry would like to thank and acknowledge the many schools and clubs who have participated in holding pet food drives the past few months! We also wish to thank their teachers and leaders for inspiring them! Among these would be Freedom Middle School’s Roots and Shoots club with over 400 pounds of pet food collected. Stockdale High’s Interact Club ~ 529 pounds,  San Lauren Elementary ~ 105 pounds, Little Christian School~ 128 pounds, St. Francis School  ~196 pounds.

To all of you who have donated pet food to the pantry you can feel proud that you are helping people in our community who are struggling financially with pet food for their pets!
