Program Spotlight: WRITE in RED

Colorado CASA is thrilled to announce a new partnership with WRITE on RED, a Fort Collins-based marketing firm specializing in crafting compelling narratives for non-profit organizations.

Led by Julie Malmberg Grawe, a fellow CASA Volunteer and founder of WRITE on RED, this collaboration marks an exciting step forward in our efforts to raise awareness and recruit more volunteers across the state. Julie’s daughter was adopted from foster care, and she personally understands the invaluable support a CASA Volunteer can provide. This personal experience fuels her passion for helping children in foster care and drives her commitment to using her skills to support the CASA mission.

"We are honored to partner with Colorado CASA on this important mission," says Julie Malmberg Grawe, Founder of WRITE on RED. "By leveraging the power of storytelling and strategic communication, we aim to inspire more individuals to become CASA volunteers and make a lasting impact in the lives of children."

In collaboration with a committee of COCASA staff and local CASA program representatives, WRITE on RED has been diligently gathering information and developing a comprehensive marketing strategy. This process has involved surveying CASA stakeholders, conducting in-depth interviews with CASA staff, analyzing existing marking materials, and learning from other CASA programs around the nation. Thank you to all the staff, volunteers, and donors who participating in this process!

This work will result in a powerful campaign that will raise awareness of the critical role CASA volunteers play in the lives of children involved in dependency and neglect cases. We are confident that this partnership will significantly enhance our recruitment efforts and enable us to reach more children in need.

Stay tuned for updates on the progress of this exciting new campaign!
