Season of Giving: Holiday Cheer for CASA Children and Families

This holiday season brought joy to hundreds of children in need thanks to the generosity of CASA staff, volunteer, and generous donors across the state.

CASA of Jefferson & Gilpin Counties partnered with Jefferson County Human Services for their annual Holiday Wishes Program. This heartwarming program supported over 410 families and 860 individuals, thanks to the genersity of more than 150 donors who contributed over $85,000 in gift and gift cards.

Every year, Denver CASA Volunteers go above and beyond in supporting the children and youth we serve during the holidays. Shoutout to CASA Julie L. for an amazing gift-wrapping job for the children on her case!

Denver CASA’s Holiday Shop was a massive success this year! With the help of our tremendous community partners, we distributed holiday gifts to approximately 110 children and youth. These gifts help relieve the financial stress of the holidays for family and caregivers, while ensuring that the young people we serve can have a special holiday season.

Every year, the Holiday shop wouldn't be possible without the overwhelming support of the community partners who make this ambitious event happen. These partners include Elks Lodge #17, Rigar Performance, Bron Tapes, BPX Energy, Pivot Energy, IIDA-RMC, Firehouse Quilts, the CU School of Nursing. Whether you donated a toy or volunteered to wrap gifts, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for supporting this wonderful day.

  • Each year CASA of Adams and Broomfield Counties hosts a CASA Child & Youth Holiday Party and this year’s was another resounding success! The event included photos with Santa, gift-giving, cookie decorating, and festive activities, bringing joy and cherished memories to the kids their program serves. Over 350 children received more than 1,000 gifts, beautifully wrapped by 50+ dedicated volunteers.

  • CASA of the Continental Divide experienced a successful holiday gift drive, with 100% of slots filled and every child assigned to a CASA volunteer receiving a gift.

We are incredibly grateful to our volunteers, staff, donors, and community partners who made these holiday celebrations possible. Their kindness and compassion have made a lasting impact on the lives of children in need.
