Volunteer Spotlight: Destinee Whipple

Destinee Whipple became a volunteer with CASA of Pueblo last year and has found working with older youth to be rewarding. Her experience as a Victim's Advocate and first responder in the Army led her to want to pursue a degree in Social Work.

Destinee Whipple became a volunteer last year and has found working with older youth to be rewarding. Her experience as a Victim's Advocate and first responder in the Army led her to want to pursue a degree in Social Work.

Destinee has a passion for working with adolescents because she believes she can relate to them in a positive way, helping them to navigate the uncertainties of their time in the child welfare system.  She assists them in focusing on their future and helps them to develop a plan to reach their goals beyond foster care.

Thank you, Destinee for making the commitment to change a child's story and advocating on their behalf. You are making a difference!
